Giving back to the community is a core value at Signature Landscape Services. We are committed to giving back to the communities we serve by supporting vital, not-for-profit organizations in the Puget Sound area.
Our employees lend a hand to Youth Eastside Services (YES) by providing landscape maintenance services for two of their facilities, as well as supporting their annual "Invest In Youth" fundraiser.
At Signature Landscape, every employee has a chance to impact the lives of Eastside children through giving. Signature’s second annual "Miles Against Hunger" campaign allocates one dollar for every mile that employees; walk, run, hike, bicycle and swim, paddle, climb and play soccer for Eastside Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger fund. Last year our employees contributed $4,235 (4,235 miles) towards the End Summer Hunger program. This year, we hope to exceed that amount.
In addition, a number of our key staff are involved with the Washington State Landscape Association (WALP) in various roles and leadership positions that help promote education, training and professionalism within our industry. Our key staff is involved with local universities and community and technical colleges, where we speak to horticulture classes, and provide project tours and specialized internships. We serve on technical advisory committees for various horticulture departments within the region as well, to support the future leaders of our industry.
